This week was a pretty heavy mileage week. I know there is more to come, but this is pretty brutal. Tuesday had me doing a slow mile, then a fast mile, slow 1:30, fast mile … alternating slow 1:30 and fast mile for 5 miles. The workout ended with a slow 1 mile. Total distance came to just under 9 miles.
Thursday was to be a 9 miler, but my wife was out of town and I just could not fit it in the schedule and manage the boys. The weekend runs were a 6 miler Saturday and my new longest distance of 18 miles on Sunday. I completed the 18 miler without dying, so that is good.
